Matt Wilson is a name most of you probably don't know, but he was instrumental in shaping a huge part of my life.
Matt Wilson worked on the American Top 40 program hosted by Casey Kasem. Wilson joined the broadcast team in 1978 and was responsible for creating the "Long Distance Dedications" and so much more.
American Top 40 from 1970-1988 will always be, in my opinion the greatest radio program in history and Matt made it even better. He died on March 8th at the age of 61. Wilson also worked with Bob Kingsley for many years on American Country Countdown.
RIP Mr. Matt Wilson, an inspiration to me and many others who loved AT40.
