TOP 40 DVD RELEASES OF 2011 (PART 2) 30-21

30. Humongous (Scorpion) Katarina Winters hosts this film about a bizarre killer on a small isolated island. This is rare and a good addition to your dvd library.

29. Nightmares In Red White And Blue (Lormer) Fascinating documentary on horror films in America. Sometimes tends to get political, but still very well made.

28. Birdemic: Shock & Terror (Severin) I know most of you are probably asking why the hell this is on the list? Wel if you haven't seen it you must. One of the most bizarre and worst fun films I have ever seen.

27. Exterminator (Synapse) Robert Ginty stars as a man pushed too far by criminals who becomes a vigilante. Love the hamburger grinding scene.

26. Bobby The Brain Heenan (WWE) It's about time one of the last true wrestling managers and very funny men got his own DVD release. There will never be anyone as good as "The Brain."

25. Diabolique (Criterion) The French classic about two women who plot to murder a sadistic man which has plenty of twists and turns. A true horror classic and a great looking print from Criterion.

24. Manos: The Hands of Fate Special Edition (Shout Factory) This is a two disc set with the original movie, the MSt3K version and a documentary on the film itself. A long time coming for this awful but wonderful film.

23. Sugar Hill (MGM MOD) Made on Demand disc from MGM is a great blaxploitation film starring the sexy Marki Bey as a woman seeking voodoo revenge for those that killed her lover. Scary and gruesome, this is a real winner in my book. Aslo starring Don Pedro Colley and Robert Quarry.

22. Up From The Depths/Demon Of Paradise (Shout Factory) Another great double feature gem from the Roger Corman Collection from Shout. Up is a jaws rip off ans demon is the better of the two and features one of the last "man in monster suit" creatures. A must have.

21. Dinocroc vs. Supergator (Anchor Bay) Jim Wynorski directed this film, one of the final films of David Carradine about two giant monsters on the loose. Good film for the Sci-Fi network.

See you next week with more of the 40 best DVD releases of the year....................
