Tense film noir about a young woman whose husband wrongly thinks that she and the doctor are planning to kill him. He sends a letter to the DA implicating the doctor and his wife and then he ends up dying from another heart attack and the wife frantically tries to get the letter back.
Barry Sullivan is excellent as the husband and so is lovely Loretta Young as his stressed out wife.
This movie proves you don't need a lot of plot to make a tense movie and some great actors help a lot.
If you like film noir you will love this. Recommended!!
