ELVIRA'S MOVIE MACABRE..THE GIANT GILA MONSTER 1959 (EONE)

This is part of the Elvira's Movie Macabre 2 disc dvd set entitled Giant Monsters.
In this episode Elvira shows us a film while she pet sits for several people and her lizard grows to be a giant.
The film itself is a goofy little number shot in Texas in 1959. It is one of my favorite films simply because I saw it way back when at the right time and place.
Don Sullivan stars as a teen who combats a huge Gila Monster that has been eating people and causing accidents in a very secluded area of Texas. I love the regional accents of the actors and it all had a very home grown feeling to it.
Elvira does her usual good job poking fun at, but not destroying the film as some people do.
This is recommended as a good way to laugh at Elvira and watch a very low budget 50's thriller as well.
