Donna Douglas never ever looked better than episode 103
ReplyDeleteof 77 Sunset Strip where she wore a evening gown.
She said so herself, paying tribute to the Warner
Brothers make up and costuming department who
seemingly poured her into that dress.
By the way, Henry Kissinger visited the set of Beverly Hillbillies and hung around for 2 days hitting on Donna,
who was upset by the attentions of the far older,
troll like Henry, who was known for this sort of behavior with starlets.
After a crying Donna told 6'4" Buddy Ebsen why she was
so upset, Buddy took Hank aside and told him to leave
or else.
Don't feel bad for him, Kissinger later dated Jill
St. John!
PS - I shouldn't have written in the above post
ReplyDelete"don't feel bad for him" in regards to Kissinger
perving on a woman who obviously was repulsed by
him.
Especially as she was a woman of faith and a "good girl".
Jill St. John must have been doing a PR stunt or
giving a mercy date when she went out with Kissinger.
