The ultra sexy pop singer discovered by Prince had a great career in music starting with her best known hit "Nasty Girl" in 1982. She then formed the group Vanity 6 that toured with prince for a while.
She quit and went solo in the 90's and signed with Motown. She sadly battled a Crack addiction and after an over dose her kidney's were shot and she had to go thru almost daily dialysis. She eventually got off of the drugs and became a born again christian.
I always enjoyed seeing her weather in a music video or in movies such as "The Last Dragon" and "Action Jackson". A very sexy woman and a talent is gone way too young.
