CODE NAME VENGEANCE 1987 (TUBI)

Not too bad of an action movie.

Robert Ginty stars as Monroe Bieler, a man who is currently spending his life in an African prison after having been captured by a madman named Tabrak (James Ryan) during a failed coup attempt.

When the wife and son of the leader of another African country are kidnapped by Tabrak, a government man named Applegate (Don Gordon) gets Bieler sprung from the jail so he can rescue the victims and get Tabrak once and for all.

Bieler trusts nobody as he seeks to find Tabrak. He has a young agent named Chuck (Kevin Brophy) along with him as well as a woman named Sam (Shannon Tweed).

There is a lot of action and killing as Bieler gets closer to his every moving target. It's double tough as he also has to deal with his own inside termoil as spies who are trying to bring him down as well.

There is also a lot of double crosses and some of them come as kind of a shock. The film moves along very well, and if you're a fan of 80's action films you will enjoy this. <'P>

Ginty is very good as always and Tweed is great and gets one topless scene, so all is good there. Cameron Mitchell shows up in a small part, but it is a good one.
