Mike Rhodes (Robert Hanley) is a politician running for Mayor of Los Angeles who is kidnapped by a vicious gang of killers led by a psycho named Cavanaugh (Wings Hauser).
The police seem to be ineffective so a former cop turned bounty hunter, Ruger (Sybil Danning) goes after the gang and she really wants Cavanaugh since he is the one who killed her partner a few years before.
Danning produced and stars in this movie and her character is typical of women she played...she kicks butt and kills whenever she has to. Her fans will no doubt love this role.
Now Wings Hauser was the perfect screen psycho. He made a career of doing roles like this, and I believe he is at his best here. Directior Worth Keeter does a good job directing his actors and they give good performances.
Watching Danning stalk Hauser is a great thing. I will say this movie never gets boring and it moves along well. It doesn't get many good reviews, but I can say I give it a hearty recommendation.
The rest of the cast includes Blackie Dammett, Henry Darrow, Frank Doubleday, Lenore Kasdorf and Robert Quarry. I also will tell you there is an interesting twist to this film that some may see coming, but I bet most won't and didn't.
