A wonderful and beautifully shot film from Amando de Ossorio.
Victor DeFrois (Jorge Martin) is a chief of fur hunting rebels and he is at war with the Hudson's Bay Company as it is making them get less and less for their furs.
He refuses to break the law until his brother is killed and then he decides something drastic must be done. He kidnaps Ann Sullivan (Giulia Rubini) who is the daughter of a wealthy landowner who also runs the Hudson's Bay Company.
As they travel thru the Canadian wilderness both grow close to one another as the story takes an interesting turn. The climax of the film is a tense one and very well done.
I recommend this to any film fan, especially if you like Spanish cinema. The photography is breathtaking and the image is simply beautiful, Speaking of beautiful you not only have Giulia Rubini you have Pamela Tudor and best of all Diana Lorys.
There are some very well done set pieces including a great fight between Tudor and Lorys!! It's a shame this movie is better known, but it is out on streaming and on Blu-ray, so hopefully more people will get a chance to see it.
