This is a very short (53 minute) film, that I believe was a pilot for a proposed TV series, but was instead banned because of the subject matter back in the day.
The story revolves around a sadistic hermit who captures women who get lost in the part of the woods that he ;ives in. When the movie opens we see him capture a young woman who was riding a horse, but we never see what he does to her.
Along comes a women who has had an auto accident and he stalks her and plys a cat and mouse game with her. She stumbles into his home, and then she meets her fste as well, and we see what he does to them. He feeds them to his huge army of hungry rats.
There is no dialogue in this outing and a lot of it seems to imitate "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" in camera angles and in how the man trerrorizes the woman.
It's a shame this was neglected, but at least people can still see it. Nowadays the subject matter would be nothing, as it has been done many, many times. But, if you want to see something unique, check it out.
