TOMAHAWK TRAIL 1957 (TUBI)

This was a enjoyable little western.

Chuck Conners stars as Sgt. Wade McCoy who is part of a patrol that is being led into danger by an incompetent lieutenant.

Lieutenant Jonathan Davenport (George N. Neise) is taking his men thru Apache country and he has an ego to match his temper.Because of him, their horses are stolen and in a skirmish he is injured.

McCoy takes command away from Davenport in order to get the group to a fort and some safety. They run across Ellen Carter (Susan Cummings) and her friend Tula (Lisa Montell) after a raid by the Apaches. Ellen has been living with them for a few months after she was taken captive and Tula has become her "sister".

The group reaches a fort only to find everyone dead. The final battle lines are set between indians and the ragtag group.

This 69 minute western moves very quickly and the movie will keep you entertained, especially if you're a western fan. The rest of the cast includes Eddie Little Sky, Robert Knapp, Harry Dean Stanton, and John Smith.

I hope you enjoy the film as much as I did if you get a chance to see it.
