This is and excellent and somewhat obscure horror film about a devil worshipper who kidnaps and kills prostitutes. Elliot Gould plays a former detective who eventually joins the case and Richard Roundtree is the head detective who is trying to find out is a young man who witnessed a killing can be trusted.
Lots of subtle plots twists here and the always sexy Shannon Tweed as a prostitute who meets her death at the hands of the Satan worshipper. Michael J. Pollard has a good role as a very odd man, but then that is what he excels at in his career.
For lovers of movies from the silent era to modern day with an emphasis on horror, sci-fi, exploitation, WIP, westerns and anything of the fantastic and bizarre.
