INNER SANCTUM 1948 (MILL CREEK)

A man murders a woman and then dumps her body on a passing train. He thinks he has gotten away with it, but one witness saw him and this leads to nothing to troouble for him.
There is an interesting framing device as a man sits and tells a woman this tale on a train. The movie is haunting and will give you the shudders with no monsters or effects, just excellent story telling. Author Fritz Leiber is Dr. Valonius and Mary Beth Hughes looks lovely as always.
Recommended thriller.
