VAMPIRE AND THE BALLERINA 1960 (DVD-R)

One of the classic titles of Italian horror cinema of the 1960's. Beautiful dancers are stalked by two sinister vampires near an old castle.
I have always found this film to be charming, well made and easy on the eyes. My first exposure to this gem came from a super 8 film I had bought in Famous Monsters magazine in the 70's and when I saw it I was hooked. Then in the 90's TCM ran this on Halloween night and it was a total pleasure to finally see the entire movie. The dancers are all built like strippers, but hell, that is the fun of this kind of movie, and all of the women are attractive as usual.
The credits are in Italian, but it is a dubbed print and a damn good one at that. I wish this would get a super cool DVD release, but I am sure no company wants to make this available as long as they have crap like The Avengers or any other major modern brain rot to foister on the public.
If you like atmospheric sets, actors who can act and a story that actually moves, then I recommend it if you can find it.
