When this first came out from Goodtimes Video back in 1986 on VHS I loved it and watched it many, many times. It disappeared from sight until just a few months ago when it was released from Legend. Now we have a much longer version with tons more clips and more Zacherley, plus five very interesting extras.
There are clips from such films as "Killers From Space", "Beginning Of The End" and hundreds more. Zacherley takes you to his dungeon world as he has to clean everything out since his 500 year lease has run out. This two disc set is a must for anyone who grew up watching horror hosts on TV in the good old days. To many Zacherley will always be the best.
The second disc has five extras which are some behind the scenes of Zach getting the show ready as well as Zacherley appearing on What's my Line on Halloween night in 1960. There is a 1962 short called "The Glob" which is a cool Gumby short film an a Lights Out episode from 1951 entitled "Curtain Call" and the final extra is the 1958 film "Frankenstein's Daughter" and it is probably the BEST print I have ever seen of this film.
Priced usually under 10 bucks, this is a no brainer when it comes to buying. Get it, watch it and enjoy almost 4 hours of insane fun.
