The survivors of a plane crash in the mountains find an abandoned cabin and decide to stay there until a coming snow storm passes.
Little do they realise that they are sharing the place with strange alien creatures that love the taste of human flesh. Now, that plot sounde pretty good...not original, but good.
The beginning of the movie sets up a pretty good atmosphere as we see a man killed by "something" in the cabin and even after the plane crash it still keeps up a good feeling of dread.
However, the movie falls apart about halfway thru and then the climax is somewhat badly done. First I have to say the CGI effects are awful as usual for most movies made in the 2000's, the acting is somewhat stiff and some of the dialogue is plain stupid.
I feel they started with a good thing for the money they had and then everything fell apart. At the end of the movie it looks like 2 women standing infront of a badly done CGI effect instead of being outdoors.
All of this really hampered my enjoyment of what could have been a good low budget film. Watch at your own risk.
