Hugh Beaumont stars as Larry Craig, a man who is about to be married to Vicki McGuire (Mary Beth Hughes).
His plans are stopped when his former wife everyone thought was dead reappears and has plans to stop this new marriage once and for all.
She is killed however and Larry becomes the prime suspect. After some investigation it seems he has an airtight alibi. Vicki sets out to prove his innocence.
Things aren't what they appear in this tight PRC film noir directed by Sam Newfield. Some people have said that the ending is predictable, but I didn't see it coming at all.
Beaumont turns in a great performance as Larry Craig, and he and everyone else in this movie work well together. The ending is bleak as expected in this genre.
The movie offers nothing new in film noir, but it is highly recommended.
