I have been a huge fan of Shirley since I saw her in Dr. Jekyll Vs. The Wolfman and have been trying to track down and see everything she was ever in...good or bad.
Very little is known about her and I cannot even find the most basic facts about her. I don't know if she is still with us or not, and I have no info or birthdate or much else.
I enjoy everything I see her in and I even have her on my computer desktop!! Her career in films was only from 1970-1979, but she made a lasting impression with me.
Some of her films include the above mentoned horror film with Paul Naschy, "Syndicate Sadists", "Xiangang Xiao Jiao Fu", "Massacre In Rome", "Tales Of Erotica", "Crimes Of The Black Cat" and "Devil's Nightmare".
All of her films were foreign and a lot of them are hard to track down, but I have managed to see about 10 of them, and Shirley always makes the film better.
My faves of her movies are "Dr. Jekyll Vs. The Wolfman", "Devil's Nightmare", "Syndicate Sadists and "Xiangang Xiao Jiao Fu".
As with most of these obscure yet beautiful women, I wish she had made a lot more movies, but who knows what goes on in anyones life. I do wish I had more info on her. If anyone who ever reads this has some more info, please contact me here. It would be much appreciated.
I'll just keep the movies I have with her as I watch them very often. I'll continue the hunt for her other movies and, of course, will remain a fan of hers forever.
