For lovers of movies from the silent era to modern day with an emphasis on horror, sci-fi, exploitation, WIP, westerns and anything of the fantastic and bizarre. His wonderful baritone voice led the Drifters in such classics as "There Goes My Baby" and "Save The Last Dance For Me". King was not only a talented singer, but an excellent song writer as well.
He is best known for the hits "Spanish Harlem" and "Stand By Me". One of my favorite musical talents is gone. The music industry has lost a giant. King was 76.
