Cameron Mitchell and George Ardisson star as Harald and Guntar, two brothers who return to Norway and find that their father has been murdered and his throne taken over by King Sveno, played to the hilt by the wonderful Edmond Purdom.
Harald pretends he is the Danish Ambassador and infiltrates Svenos' kingdom. Guntar is captured and the real ambassador shows up, so Harald must change his plans.
There is plenty of sword fights and action in this film, but it is Purdom who steals the show. He scowling, insane cackling and hand scratching make for a top villain. If you are a peplum fan, this should serve you well.
