CODE 7 VICTIM 5 1964 (BLUE UNDERGROUND) BLU-RAY

Good action/spy film starring Lex Barker.

Barker is agent Steve Martin who has been hired by a millionaire to investigate the death of his butler.

It seems like a rather odd case, but Martin accepts and soon finds more than he bargained for. There are plenty of plots twists and turns and typical 60's action film heroics.

Harry Alan Towers wrote the original story under the name Peter Welbeck, and you can see some of the Tower touches in this film.

Most of the women in this film are absolutely gorgeous especially the leading lady Ann Smyrner. I enjoy her in EVERY film she is in that I can get a chance to see, an why she wasn't a bigger star is unknown to me.

The Blu-ray presentation from Blue Underground is excellent and you cannot go wrong with this film if you are into 60's spy films. You will notice that the opening scene is rather reminding of "Live And Let Die". Cinematography is by Nicholas Roeg.
