BEAST OF HOLLOW MOUNTAIN 1956 (DVD-R)

This is a mixture of western action and sci-fi as a giant dionsaur is discovered to be the reason for missing cattle and people outside a small mexican village.Guy Madison stars as a Texan who moved to Mexico to start a cattle ranch and has his life turned upside down by both the prehistoric terror and a young woman. played by Patricia Medina, who loves him.
Carlos Rivas is in the supporting role as madison's business partner. The special effects are unique. especially when the dinosaur begins to run after his intended meals!! I have never seen that done before or since.
The color on this print I have in simply beautiful and the Cinemascope picture is perfect. I don't know why this has never been offered on either DVD or VHS, but I am hoping it gets a disc release soon.
Recommended for fans of 50's sci-fi.
