TELL TALE HEART 1962 (MILL CREEK)

Lawrence Payne stars as a man who falls in love with an attractive woman next door and soon he introduces her to hs friend, and she falls madly in love with the friend. Payne goes crazy and murders his friend and soon finds himself haunted by the sound of a beating heart.
Based on the story by edgar Allen Poe, this is a well made little film and one that is very haunting. Adrienne Corri is the lovely woman at the center of it all
This is a great little black and white horror film for the Halloween season and I have to admit the ending is an interesting twist.
