THE SPY WHO LOVED ME 1977 (MGM)

The greatest James Bond film ever made!

Roger Moore is James Bond who is investigating the disappearances of several submarines that were carrying nuclear warheads. Curt Jurgens is Stromberg, a madman living under the sea who has stolen the warheads and plans to use them on New York and Moscow in order to change the world.

Ultra sexy Barbara Bach is a Russian agent called "Triple X" who works at first against Bond, but later with him as the two try and find microfilm with secret plans on it for a new submarine tracking system. The always sexy as hell Caroline Munro is Stromberg's assistant who tries to kill Bond in a Helicopter and sadly ends up getting blown to bits, but god oes she look good in her bikini.

All the elements fall together to make this a truly classic film. You have a great music score with the title song sung by Carly Simon. Great stunt work and camera work, especially during the opening sequences, great dialogue and some unforgettable Bond villains such a "Jaws" played by Richard Kiel.

The rest of the cast includes Bernard Lee as "M", Desmond Llewelyn as "Q", Lois Maxwell as "Moneypenny", Shane Rimmer and gorgeous Valarie Leon.

You cannot go wrong with this film and it is a great example of what can be done when everything falls into place on a movie and the people actually know what they are doing. I know some people like the new age James Bond films, but to me they are boring, stupid, PC crap that doesn't work.

See this film by all means.
