Four people are trapped in a time warp after experimenting with a time portal and find themselves in a future world 127 years from where they started.
Preston Foster, Phillip Carey, Merry Anders and Steve Franken are the four trapped people who meet a race of Earthlings forced to live underground after an atomic war has left the world destroyed and run by mutant creatures above.
John Hoyt is the leader of the underground people and others include Joan Woodbury and Dennis Patrick as Willard, a man who resents the strangers.
This is an entertaining sci-fi film and has always been a favorite of mine. The ending is unique and makes you think a little about what dangers could be encountered if one ever did travel in time. Look quickly for Forry Ackerman in a small role.
Shout/Timeless has included this on the Movies 4 You Sci-Fi Classic disc which also includes "Man From Planet X", "Beyond the Time Barrier" and "Angry Red Planet". Picture quality is very goo with excellent colors.
