FALCON'S ADVENTURE 1946 (WARNER ARCHIVE)

Another winner in the long running Falcon film series.

The movie opens with Tom Lawrence (Tom Conway) aka The Falcon rescuing a beautiful woman named Louisa Braganza (Magde Meredith) from kidnappers.

Lawrence learns that her father has developed a secret formula for creating diamonds. Soon her father is murdered and the blame is placed on The Falcon.

Louisa flees to Florida with Tom in hot pursuit. Lawrence finds himself trying to protect Louisa, himself and find the killers who will do anything to get the formula.

This is a very fast paced and well done entry that is full of beautiful women and plenty of plot twists. Some people have said the ending a kind of a letdown, but I disagree. It works perfectly.

There is some light comedy from the character of Goldie Locke (Edward Brophy) who is the valet of Lawrence. The rest of the excellent cast includes Steve Brodie, Robert Warwick, Myrna Dell, Ian Wolfe, Carol Forman, and Jason Robards, Sr.

Highly Recommended entry.
