William Shatner stars as Matt Stone, a conman who lives off of wealthy women. In the opening scenes we see him brutally kill his current lover and dispose of her body.
We also see a black and white clip of Stone as a small boy who kills a man assulting his mother. Yes indeed, with a set up like this the viewer knows they are in for a twisted treat.
Stone then tries to get money out of a woman named Julia Marstow (Ruth Roman) and falls for her friend Ann Moy (the gorgeous Jennifer Bishop). Ann's daughter Tina (Kim Nicholas) sees Matt commit a murder and nobody believes her.
Shatner is totally over the top with his role as a killer and conman. He does an excellent job and I have never seen him in a role quite like this.
This film has many great set pieces and Grefe does his usual excellent job of bringing it to the screen. The car wash scene is one of the best. The rest of the cast for this shocker include Harold Sakata, James Dobson, Marcia Knight and William Kerwin.
This is a highly recommended feature that I think every horror fan should see and it has finally been brought to Blu-ray. I haven't given too much away as I think everyone who sees it should feel like I did when I saw it. Check it out.
