MR. MOTO'S LAST WARNING 1939 (MILL CREEK)

This has been on the PD market for many, many years and I have finally seen it.

Peter Lorre stars as Japanese detective Mr. Moto.

Ricardo Cortez is Fabian, a man working with a gang of international spies who are planning to mine the entrance to the Suez Canal.

Moto tries and stop the planned attack with the help of an inside agent working for the US Government named Danforth (John Carradine). Danforth is discovered and killed in a diving bell which is sent to the bottom of the ocean. This is a very effective scene.

There is plenty of action and intrigue in this little thriller from Fox. George Sanders is perfect as an evil spy named Eric Norvel. The print quality from Mill Creek is better than some I have seen and very watchable.

A fairly straight forward spy thriller that does provide entertainment for 71 minutes.
