GIANTS OF ROME 1964 (MILL CREEK)

Not too shabby of an adventure yarn.

Richard Harrison stars Claudius Marcellus, a man who leads a small but very well trained group of men on a very dangerous mission for Caesar.

Their mission is to destroy the Druids secret weapon so Caesar can easily defeat them. Along the way they are arrested and thrown into a prison where Claudius meets a captured Roman soldier and a beautiful woman in prison.

The woman named Lavilla falls in love with Claudius and she and the soldier accompany the men when they escape from prison. They eventually find the Druid secret weapon and attempt to destroy it. This is a well made and very watchable film.

Pretty straight forward as far as these kinds of peplum goes.
