This is my second Nikkatsu film, and I have to admit it's both disturbing and entertaining at the same time.
The story starts with a crazed man breaking into a home and tying up the man and woman in the home, then raping the woman in front of her husband. This sets in motion everything else. One year later a child is born because of the rape and the mother kills herself because her husband abuses and tortures her until she can take it no more.
The son grows up to hate the world he lives in and he developes an interesting habit using the money he has been left by his parents. He buys a mansion and builds a secret torture chamber in the basement.
He then proceeds to kidnap beautiful women and subject them to sexual tortures for his amusement. His secret life goes undetected by those around him. Things get even more perverse when the rapist of his mother shows up and both start to partake in the torture of women.
No, this film is not for everyone, but damn I enjoyed it and found it very disturbing. Nikkatsu will always be known for these kinds of films and they knew how to make them very well.
If you want to see something perverse and totally bizarre, then check this film out. The presentation on Blu-ray is stunning and my hat is off to Impulse for getting this film out there to be seen.
