DAWN OF THE DEAD 2004 (UNIVERSAL)

This is one of the few films that caused me to eat crow a few years ago when I said it wouldn't amount to anything, and it actually turned out to be one of my favorite films of all time.
Basically a remake of the original George Romero classic but with a twist that the zombie are very fast moving. The cast is excellent and the standout is lovely Sarah Polley, a young nurse who is caught with a group of survivors in a shopping mall having to fight off hordes of the undead.
If you haven't already seen this you're missing something. One of the best examples of what a modern horror film should be.
