Ross Elliot is the man in hiding, Ann Sheridan is his cold wife and Dennis O' Keefe is the reporter who turns out to be something very unexpected.
Robert Keith and Frank Jenks are the two detectives involved in the case and they both play off each other very well.
This is a tight little film noir full of twists and turns and a suprise that is delivered at about the halfway point in the film.
