Sexy as hell Lynda Carter is the titular amazon who helps fight the Nazi's during WW2. This is the pilot movie for the series which ran for 3 years.
The cast also includes series regular Lyle Waggoner as Major Steve Trevor, Stella Stevens as his secretary who is actually a Nazi spy, Red Buttons as a spy, John Randolph as General Blankenship, Eric Braeden as a Nazi pilot, Severn Darden, Fannie Flagg, Henry Gibson, Kenneth Mars, and Cloris leachman as the Queen of Paradise Island.
This is total comic book adventure and still works very well today, at least with those of us who can suspend disbelief and enjoy entertainment for what it really is...entertainment.
This film helps set up the run of the first season of the show which debuted 6 months later. There will NEVER be another Wonder Woman besides the lovely Miss Carter and I wish to god filmmakers would quit trying to remake it...it is not possible.
