Al Jarreau who sang jazz, pop an the blues has died at the age of 76. Jarreau whose biggest hit was probably the 1981 pop classic entitled "We're In this Love Together" passed away just after announcing he was retiring from touring and two weeks ago he was in the hospital for exhaustion.
I loved the songs Jarreau both wrote and sang an I was first introduced to him via the above mentioned song.
He won 7 Grammy awards and also wrote the lyrics to the theme song of the TV show Moonlighting. He also sang that tune as well.
A true legend in the music business has left us. Cause of death at this writing isn't yet known.
