31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN DAYS 3 & 4: SHIN GODZILLA 2016 (FUNIMATION)

Excellent Toho made film, as usual.

This film proves that Toho can make anything better than the USA.

A Toho reboot of their immortal 1954 film Godzilla works top notch at every level. the story opens with a giant, gilled monster that rises out of the ocean and proceeds to slither thru japan causing mass destruction.

The giant monster soon begins evolving into the monster we all know as Godzilla. The scenes of mass destruction are expertly handled as only the Japanese can handle them.

The film is also a scathing message about government red tape and total indecision. There are many scenes of the government arguing about what to do and how they are incapable of making a rational decision to save lives.

I have read some pretty bad reviews of this film and I cannot figure out for the life of me what people want anymore. This is an fine example of Japanese film making and how to do a giant monster movie correctly. There have been too many Godzilla pictures made in the US that have nothing to do with the legacy behind it.

If you want to see a good Godzilla film, check this out. i cannot imagine a true Japanese Monster movie fan who wouldn't like it.
