FIVE GOLDEN DRAGONS 1966 (BLUE UNDERGROUND) BLU-RAY

This is a film I had never heard of but was pleasantly surprised when I finally got to see it.

This is a fun little film from producer Harry Alan Towers and director Jeremy Summers. Robert Cummings stars as an American playboy/tourist who gets caught up in a web of international crime and murder involving some very shady characters.

After a friend of his is killed Cummings character of Bob Mitchell is drawn into a nightmare after a letter addressed to him ends up in the hands of the police. The only thing the letter says is "Five Golden Dragons" which the police or Mitchell cannot figure out.

Mitchell meets two gorgeous women Ingrid (Maria Rohm) and Margaret (Maria Perschy) who are sisters. After all three are chased by mysterious men with daggers Mitchell offer to help the women and get to the bottom of what is going on. When Margaret is found in Mitchell's hotel room dead he is suspected of murder.

This is a very entertaining film with an international cast of names you'd never associate with a Harry Alan Towers production. The rest of the cast includes Dan Duryea, Brian Donlevy, George Raft, Christopher Lee, Rupert Davies, Klaus Kinski, and gorgeous Margaret Lee.

This is a fast paced film with plenty of surprises and gorgeous Euro babes. There is nothing better than seeing Maria Perschy and Maria Rohm in bikinis on screen at the same time, and then what can I say about Margaret Lee, who looks simply stunning in this film.

Klaus Kinski is Gert, a chain smoking killer tied to the Five Golden Dragons. The ending is pretty cool and I highly recommend this film which does offer something a little different. The presentation is excellent.
