MUTINY 1-11-65...After an encounter with a giant jellyfish tension mounts on the Seaview as Nelson begins to act very strangely. Harold J. Stone stars. A very good episode.
DOOMSDAY 1-18-65...A mass missile launch from a foreign nation sends the Seaview into "Failsafe Mode" and everyone on the sub wonders if this is actually "doomsday".
THE INVADERS 1-25-65...Robert Duval stars as a being over 20 million years old that is discovered beneath the sea in a capsule and brought out of suspended animation. But what are his intentions? Another top notch episode.
THE INDESTRUCTIBLE MAN 2-1-65...After retrieving a space capsule, the crew of the Seaview finds themselves under attack from it's occupant....an out of control robot. Michael Constantine stars.
THE BUCCANEER 2-8-65...A master criminal hijacks the Seaview in order to steal the original painting of the Mona Lisa. Barry Atwater stars.
THE HUMAN COMPUTER 2-15-65...Capt. Crane is the only person aboard the Seaview in a test to see if an automated computer system can run the ship. However Crane may not be alone after all.
THE SABOTEUR 2-22-65...Crane is brainwashed into destroying a scientific experiment as well as killing Admiral Nelson. Warren Stevens stars in this excellent episode.
CRADLE OF THE DEEP 3-1-65...A giant one celled creature threatens to destroy the Seaview and it's entire crew. John Anderson stars.
THE AMPHIBIANS 3-8-65...A doctor has created a race of humans who can live and breathe underwater. One of the beings decides to make the crew of the Seaview just like himself, an underwater being.
THE EXILE 3-15-65...Admiral Nelson finds himself stuck in the middle of the ocean on a raft with the premier of "The People's Republic" who is carrying vital information on a missile program. Ed Asner stars and while it's a good episode, I dislike Asner and thought he brought the episode down a bit.
THE CREATURE 3-22-65...Leslie Nielsen stars as a man obsessed with finding a giant sea monster that caused the deaths of many people he worked with on a secret project.
THE ENEMIES 3-29-65...The leader of "The People's Republic" captures Nelson and Crane and uses a drug to make them hostile enemies and kill one another. Tom Skerritt, Malachi Throne and Robert Sampson also star.
SECRET OF THE LOCH 4-5-65...The Seaview is sent to investigate the murder of a scientist by an alleged monster near Loch Ness. Torin Thatcher stars.
THE CONDEMNED 4-12-65...J.D. Cannon stars as a publicity happy scientist who has developed a device to allow the Seaview to literally go to the bottom of the ocean. Arthur Franz and Alvy Moore also star. Pretty cool monster in this episode that I once had on a 3-D Viewmaster.
THE TRAITOR 4-19-65...Admiral Nelson's sister is kidnapped in order to force the Admiral to give away secrets of US nuclear weapons.
That's it for season 1. The second season would be shot in color and the Seaview would be revamped to include a flying sub and more scientific gadgets. Also, season 2 would be the beginning of some incredible monsters appearing on the show.
