Her career started in 1959, but she became popular worldwide when she appeared in the 1960 film "Eyes With A Face" which has since become a classic foreign horror film.
Her other well known films outside of France include "The Burning Court" and "Judex". Her film career lasted until earlier this year. However, fans will ALWAYS remember "Eyes Without A Face".
She passed away in France on June 26th, 2019 at the age of 81.
