Hickman will always be remembered for the hit TV series "Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis" in which he played the title role. My mother turned me on to that show, many years ago. I always enjoyed it.
Besides his 4 year run on that show he had many, many other acting jobs in both movies and TV. As for movies he appeared in such fare as "Cat Ballou", "Ski Party", "How To Stuff A Wild Bikini" and my favorite film of his "Dr. Goldfoot And The Bikini Machine".
His two best TV appearances in my opinion were The Night Stalker episode entitled "The Youth Killer" and the Ellery Queen episode entitled "Adventures Of The Weary Waitress".
Dwany Huckman passed away on January 9th, 2022 at the age of 87.
