A high priest of Arkham comes to America to reclaim the bodies of Kharis and his love, but finds Ananka has been reincarnated into another body. John Carradine is the priest Yousef Bey, Robert Lowery is the hero and the overlooked but always sexy Ramsay Ames is Amina Mansouri, whom Ananka is reincarnated into.
Ramsay will always stick in my mind as one of the sexiest actresses in movie history, and she really didn't have too many roles. When she gets out of bed in her silk nightgown and follows the Mummy my heart always races faster!!
The movie ends on a suprising downbeat note as Ames is carried into the swamp by Kharis and becomes a living mummy herself!! Of course this sets it up for the final installment coming soon.
This is a highly Recommended film from the always entertaining Universal stable of films. Again, excellent Halloween viewing.
