When a huge egg washes ashore in Japan after a typhoon, a millionaire buys it and puts it on exhibition...that is until Godzilla shows up and starts destroying the countryside.
Mothra comes to help the people of japan, but she dies and her egg hatches an the two caterpillars inside battle with Godzilla to the death. This is one film where Godzilla does not win the fight.
The special effects in this film are well done, of course and the monster battles are incredible to watch. I love the intricate details that go into making Mothra a very beautiful colored moth. The twins from Infant Island show up to control Mothra and they are always interesting to see as well. If you like Japanese monster films, this is a must.
