Raymond Burr stars as Barney Chavez, a very ruthless man who kills his boss so he can take over the plantation and marry the bosses very sexy widow played by Barbara Payton.
This act does not go unnoticed and he is cursed by an elderly native woman. She gives him a drug that makes him think he is turning into a gorilla and stalking the jungle at night.
This is truly a bizarre movie that too many people write off as bad without finding the entertainment in watching Burr think he's a gorilla and other great bits. Payton is sexy as ever and Tom Conway is a doctor who is also in love with her.
on Chaney, Jr. is the police chief of the area and a strong believer in curses and such. This film is excellent for a cold Saturday afternoon or late night viewing, oh and did I mention Barbara Payton looks sexy as hell in here?
