60. VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED 1960 (WARNER ARCHIVE) BLU-RAY...The original British thriller about alien children was finally given a beautiful Blu-ray treatment. George Sanders and the gorgeous Barbara Shelley star.
59. HIGHWAY DRAGNET 1954 (KINO) BLU-RAY...Roger Corman produced this little crime gem starring Richard Conte and Wanda Hendrix. It was such a pleasure to see this neglected gem get a surprise Blu-ray treatment. It looks better than I have ever seen it and any film noir fan should enjoy this one.
58. BLOOD OF THE VIRGINS 1967 (SINISTER CINEMA)...A beautiful, subtitled print. The story concerns a group of people who are terrorized by a vampire. A truly odd film that has been available before, but this is the only version I have seen.
57. PHANTOM FROM SPACE/FROZEN ALIVE 1954/1964 (RETROMEDIA)...This was also released on Blu-ray. Two interesting films. The first is about an alien who is invisible and crashes to Earth. The second is more of a crime drama about a man who is frozen alive in an experiment, but is still the primary suspect in a bizarre murder. Excellent widescreen prints.
56. EROTIC BRIDE FROM HELL 1972 (SINISTER CINEMA)...Beautiful Japanese ghost story about a man who falls in love with a woman he soon discovers belongs to the dead. A great looking widescreen and subtitled print.
55. FASTEST GUNS IN THE WEST 1943-1956 (MILL CREEK)...This set contains 8 westerns directed by William Castle. I love this excellent collection and I hope Mill Creek will continue to mine their Columbia library for these kinds of films.
54. RANDY SAVAGE UNRELEASED 2018 (WWE)...A great 3 disc set spanning the career of one of the most popular pro wrestlers in history. Wild action is key in this set. One of only 2 WWE releases this year that was any good in my opinion.
53. THE PSYCHOPATH 1966 (KINO) BLU-RAY...Four people are killed by a mysterious man who leaves dolls at the scene of his crimes. One of the most bizarre films you'll ever see based on a Robert Bloch story and directed by Freddie Francis. What a climax!!
52. OSS 117 FIVE FILM COLLECTION 1963-1968 (MINO) BLU-RAY...Kino brings us 5 films in the long running French series about a super spy. All of these films are in French with English subtitles and various actors played OSS 117 including Kerwin Matthews and John Gavin. Plenty of action and beautiful women such as Margret Lee.
51. BYLETH 1972 (SINISTER CINEMA)...Mark Damon stars in this weird tale about a young man possessed by Byleth, the demon of incest. A truly rare and bizarre film.
