A confederate soldier named Gary Hammond (Giuliano Gemma) is asked by a Yankee colonel to help in a very interesting plan that might help stop all the bloodshed between the two sides.
The Yankee Captain Lefevre played by Angel del Pozo has learned that Fort Yuma's gold supply is to be the target of a bloody raid and wants Hammonds help, to which Hammond agrees.
Sgt. Brian Pitt (Nello Pazzafini) also goes along and all three head to Fort Yuma. In the meantime Nelson Riggs (Dan Vadis) is also after the gold as well and will stop at nothing to get it. Plenty of fisticuffs, gunfights and action to keep your attention.
The film moves along at a pretty good pace and it should satisfy fans of the genre. I couldn't help but notice that the movie has seven screenwriters and that makes me wonder if this was a troubled production.
The Blu-ray presentation from Mill Creek is beautiful and has excellent sound quality to boot. I do hope Mill Creek keeps these coming.
