For lovers of movies from the silent era to modern day with an emphasis on horror, sci-fi, exploitation, WIP, westerns and anything of the fantastic and bizarre. I have just been informed that Steve Hawkes died on June 23rd, 2019.
Hawkes starred in a few movies, but is best known as Herschell in the 1972 pro-christian, anti drug, gore film entitled "Blood Freak". Hawkes was a Croatian born actor.
Steve also ran an animal sanctuary in Florida. Any "B" movie fan will always remember him from Blood Freak and may he rest in peace. He was 77.
