The program was hosted by Abbott & Costello who are always fun to watch.
They did a lot of promotion on their new movie "Jack & The Beanstalk" as well as a lot of their classic comedy routines. The guest star was Charles Laughton and their comedy bit with him is a classic.
These were done live and when mistakes or something happened you just went on with the show, and you can see this happen many time when both of the comedic geniuses make the guests laugh and forget their cues.
This is how TV should be. I grew up on this kind of entertainment and it was great to see this again, especially with original commercials still intact.
