Orson Bean appeared in countless TV shows including "Love American Style" and "The Twilight Zone" but became a staple in the American conscious by hundreds of visits to "The Merv Griffin Show" and over 200 appearances on "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson.
Bean also was a game show staple. He was great at comedy but could also be in very serious roles such as that of Dr. Matthew Smith in "Anatomy Of A Murder".
Orson Bean passed away on Feb 7th, 2020 as a result of being struck by a car in Venice, California. He was 91.
