A crazed barber named Sweeny Todd (John Miranda) and his equally crazy friend Tobias Ragg (Berwick Kaler) decide to go on a murder binge and decide to sell meat pies to a local bakery.
This is the film most people associate with Milligan as it is his most famous film. There are some very gory murders here, none of which look too good, but hey, what do you want for a budget of $18,000.
There are actually some good little shocks such as a breast pie and other disgusting "food" items. LOL...this is not everyone's cup of tea, but if you're a MIlligan fan you'll enjoy this.
The presentation from Severin is beautiful considering other prints that have been available over the years. By all means check this one out and see what care has been given a movie nobody ever guessed would be given that kind of attention.
