Kinski stars as twins. One is normal and the other has been sentanced to an insane asylum for a murder.
He escapes from the asylum and hides in the family home. Someone we don't know helped him to escape and thus begins another series of murders by a killer who uses a blue hand with claws to kill his victims.
We discover several things about the "evil" twin and Scotland Yard is desparate to solve the killings. This is a very fine thriller and all of the performers do a very good job.
There is a slow build up to the climax, but it never seems to drag...it just chugs right along. The beautiful Diana Korner as Myrna is a great plus for this film. She looks so delicious.
Kinski gives a performance that is somewhat low-key, but he has his shining moments. The rest of the cast for this fine thriller includes Harald Leipnitz, Carl Lang, Ilse Steppat, and Ilse Page (who is always a pleasure to see).
The presentation from Film Masters is beautiful and the colors are very rich. A recommended Blu-ray if you're a fan of German Krimi.
