HUMAN DESIRE 1954 (KINO) BLU-RAY

Very well made film noir directed by Fritz Lang.

Glenn Ford stars as Jeff Warren, a young man just returned from Korea and working as a train engineer.

He stays at the home of his friend Alec (Edgar Buchanan) and is quite taken by Alec's stunning and beautiful daughter Ellen (Kathleen Case).

Jeff however falls for a woman named Vicki (Gloria Grahame) whose brutish husband played by Broderick Crawford is a hot tempered man who kills a railroad boss in a well planned murder which is also intended to blackmail Vicki into staying with him.

Jeff is pulled into the web after the inquest and Vicki tries to seduce him into her life, but is doesn't quite work out the way she wants.

The ending is very downbeat as far as Vicki and her husband are concerned and their demise takes place on a train Jeff is running, but he is unaware of anything that is going on.

All of the performances in this film are great with Grahame stealing the show. Kathleen Case is exceptional in her beauty and she really stands out as well. If you get a chance and haven't seen this gem yet, I suggest you do.
